On our quest for the perfect body we all want to know what to eat and what not to eat. Well we all have our own home remedies, every family in the world has the one thing that their mother’s, mother’s grandmother passed down, to lose weight and feel great. Most of the time those remedies do not work in this day and age. The simple reason for that is that the food they make these days, as opposed to the food they made those days, are full of preservatives and well many of the foods are all processed crap, so you really can’t call them foods. However, you can still find the good quality foods they had back then, not in abundance, but they are out there somewhere, all you need to do is look and you shall find.

If you are looking for the certain foods that you need to eat mass amounts of in order to be healthy, there is none. You really should not eat too many of one thing and less than others. Ever hear of the saying too much of a good thing is no good at all. It is a known fact that you should not cut out any part of your diet to lose weight or to eat better. As long as you eat well, and as long as your eat organic products you should be find, eat products with natural vitamins and minerals and also taking your supplements everyday and you should live a healthy life, as long as you are getting at least 5 – 15 minutes of exercise every day.

We all know the food pyramid, eat 6 potions of starchy foods every day, along with that you need to have two to 4 servings of fruit and 3 – 5 servings of vegetables on your plate every day. Proteins, well you need about 2 – 3 servings a day, dairy will be the same as your proteins, 2 – 3 servings a day, and it is said to keep fats to the minimum. So there is no one food that you need and no one food that you should not have. You should eat about 6 small meals a day, try to keep them to a routine, so if you need sixe meals a day, try to eat every 3 or 4 hours. This will also depend on what time you wake up in the morning. The trick though, is not to cut out anything from your diet, but just to eat smaller portions, eat more meals, but eat smaller meals. It was once said that a human being should eat the size of his or her fist for every meal that will be all the food groups you need in one first sized meal. This sound gross but that does not mean you have to actually measure with your hands. You could just keep it small by eating off a bread plate, or what some people might call a side plate.
